Delhi Prayer Festival

Event Branding & Design

HIS PRESENCE CHURCH

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Delhi Prayer Conference brings together people from across the city to pray for the nation. I was invited to design the event identity and visual branding for the 2017 edition — including the logo, wordmark, event poster, badges, signage, and stage visuals.

This was one of my first large-scale event branding projects, and it gave me a front-row seat to how design can unify an atmosphere of faith, worship, and purpose.

The core idea was “a city united in prayer.”
I created a wordmark that emphasized Delhi — bold, grounded, and recognizable. Behind it, I designed silhouettes of iconic Delhi monuments — symbolizing the people, history, and heartbeat of the city coming together to pray for the nation.

The color palette drew inspiration from the Indian flag — earthy tones of orange and green — but with a rustic twist. When I visited the city, Delhi felt warm, textured, and a little rough around the edges (maybe the smog had something to do with it 😅). I decided to lean into that mood by choosing a rustic orange — echoing both the Red Fort and the spirit of the city itself.
